My information on Austin classes and events might be a little outdated, so check the Austin Tango site (it's in the "Handy Links" section) before going up there for an event. I usually post a link to the event's direct information, also.

I have become much less diligent about updating the information on my site (tangosa.info) and about sending out these messages: I'm only getting off my duff to send these because of the "Farewell" milonga for Terry. If you want to find out what's happening Tango-wise in San Antonio, there really isn't a single place to go: my site was the only place that tried to consolidate that information: maybe it still is. Joining the SA Tango Google Group is a good idea: Any member of the group can post to the group (at least, that's how it's set up now), so it might be a good alternative to being on each Tango organizer's email list. If you already ARE on their list, and they post to their list and to the Google Group, you'll get duplicates of whatever announcements they send: that's one downside. A consolidated Google Calendar, like what Austin has, might be a good idea: what do you think?
And then there's FaceBook: Long ago (in web time), I started a San Antonio Tango FaceBook group, which I never did much with, and now recently there's a San Antonio Tango "Fan Page". This has the advantage (or disadvantage) that its announcements will show up in your FaceBook page, but you won't get an email for every announcement. The San Antonio Tango Fan page is referenced below, in the "Handy Links". They are, indeed, handy...

If you don't want to receive these notices, tell me and I'll take you off the list. If you want me to add or change an address, send it to me, or use the form on the web site. Please include a name. Also, the link to the subscription form on the site is given below: anyone wanting to subscribe can just go there and fill out the form.
